In my recent interview with the Bangkok Post (”American Ambassador: It’s No Secret”, Feb 12, 2006, Perspective section), I comment on how the US strikes a balance between twin needs in trade negotiations in a democratic society: keeping our public informed, versus maintaining a degree of privacy and flexibility for negotiators in the course of the talks.Save to My Web
